These eco-friendly, washable kits are accepted by the community and last 6–12 months, helping girls manage their periods with dignity and continue their education without interruption.

How We Support The Cause

Step One

Fund Raising

We raise funds through generous donations from supporters like you and community fundraising events. All proceeds go directly to the Mother’s Support Group in the Marondera area of Zimbabwe (about an hour from Harare).

Every donation over $2 is fully tax-deductible—so your support not only changes lives, it also gives back.

Step Two

Transparent and Accountable Giving

All funds raised are transferred to the trust account of Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservation, who then forward 100% of the donations (less unavoidable bank fees and taxes) directly to the Mother’s Support Group for this initiative.

We have formal agreements in place with Imire to ensure full transparency and accountability. They provide us with:

  • Detailed records of all funds received and transferred

  • Proof of any fees or charges

  • And most importantly, evidence confirming the funds have been used for their intended purpose

Your generosity goes exactly where it’s needed — and we make sure of it.

Step Three

Local Delivery, Real Impact

The Mother’s Support Group, in collaboration with Imire, manages the production and distribution of reusable sanitary kits to girls in secondary schools across the region. They also report back to us with updates and feedback, highlighting the real, positive impact these kits are having in the community.

UN’s Mission on Menstrual Health

The United Nations (UN), particularly through its agencies like UNICEF, UNFPA, and UN Women, explains the menstrual cycle as part of broader efforts to promote menstrual health, sexual and reproductive education, and gender equality.

UN’s Mission on Menstrual Health

The UN promotes Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) as a human rights issue. It works to ensure that:

Girls and women can manage their periods safely and with dignity.

Schools and communities provide education and sanitation.

Menstruation is not a barrier to education, work, or participation in society.

Why It's Important

Menstruation is a key sign of reproductive health. However, in many parts of the world:

Girls miss school during their periods.

There is stigma and shame around menstruation.

Many lack access to clean menstrual products, toilets, and education.
